About BNI Costa Del Sol

BNI was started in 1985 in California by Dr Ivan Misner, a Management Consultant and a lecturer at a Southern California University. Dr Misner has written many worldwide acclaimed books on business networking and 20 years later is still at the helm of BNI, refining, developing and honing the system that makes it the largest and most successful networking organisation of its kind in the world. 

BNI now operates in over 30 countries, with 100,000 members in over 5000 Chapters. BNI members worldwide passed annually a total of nearly 5 million referrals which translated into nearly 2 billion euros worth of business.

Code of Ethics

BNI empowers local business people to get together to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for each other.   All members are required to abide by the BNI’s networking code of ethics:

1. I will provide the quality of services at the prices I have quoted.
2. I will be truthful with the members and their referrals.
3. I will build goodwill and trust among members and their referrals
4. I will take responsibility for following up on the referrals I receive.
5. I will live up to the ethical standards of my profession.
6. I will display a positive and supportive attitude with the members of my Chapter.

Adherance to this code of ethics helps to generate trust amongst the members of each Chapter and gives them confidence to refer business to others.
